I obtained doctorate in sociology from University of Oxford in 2022. Substantively, I am interested in demographic behaviours, i.e., intimate union formation and fertility, and how (dis)advantages, inequality and ideologies (gender, sexuality and identity) are produced and reproduced during the process.
Methodologically, I am interested in applying and developing quantitative methods to various data sources to answer empirical questions.
At Oxford, I have a lot of enjoy teaching courses regarding statistical methods and contemporary China at various levels.
Outside Oxford, I acted as coach for public speech and leadership at Harvard SEED camp and provide academic advice for undergraduate research projects at ViaX.
I am interested in organisations and activities that bring positive social impacts and make the community better. I devote certain amount of my spare time to voluntary services and details are here.
